Andrew Wahlquist was employee #1 of Local Hero, and now as head of technology he handles the challenges of adapting every DI workflow to the specific needs of each project. He has been a filmmaker himself, with a versatile set of skills that allow him to jump in with title design, visual effects, motion graphics, conform, color and mastering. He's worked as a multimedia producer for the Los Angeles Times, and also spent time in the trenches of Hollywood development as a producer's assistant. Outside of work he is a passionate promoter of the local arts scene in his hometown and a dedicated father of two boys.
